If you were to leave a book out on the coffee table to impress a guest, what book would it be?

oof.

I'll say "House of Leaves" by Mark Danielewski which is one of my favorite books, it never leaves my desk.

Ask me anything

Good answer. That is an incredible book. I asked the same question to the band Kiss Kiss when I interviewed them last year and one of the band members gave the same answer. Thanks for taking my question!! ; )

I think that I would leave the complete works of E. E. Cummings.

Yours is an interesting question that forces me to realize that I posture to a certain degree.
Currently, I have 'Space Time & Architecture' on display and it's def not just because I'm reading it... That said, showcasing a subject you have interest in is good for conversation, so this can be a social plus.

"House of Leaves" is a favorite of mine too. I would leave "The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry" on the coffee table.
